Welcome to Glenda's Stories

When I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I thought my life was about to become much smaller.

In some ways, it did change.

I move a little differently now. I think a little differently. I have to plan ahead more than I used to, and I don’t always have the energy I wish I had.

Then something unexpected happened

But something else happened that I never expected.

I started paying attention to the little things.

The chair that makes getting dressed easier. The perfect plant that brings a smile every morning. The kitchen gadget that saves a little energy. The phone app that helps me remember what my brain sometimes forgets. The friend who understands that “I’m tired” means much more than needing a nap.

Those little things add up.

They don’t cure MS. They don’t erase the difficult days. But they make life better.

And sometimes, better is exactly what we need.

Why I started this blog

That’s why I decided to start this blog.

Not to focus on everything chronic illness has taken from me, but to share the things that help me keep living a full, meaningful life.

Here you’ll find practical ideas, honest conversations, products I genuinely love, ways I’ve adapted my home, technology that makes everyday tasks easier, and reminders that joy still exists, even on the hard days.

This space is for you, too

Whether you’re living with MS, another chronic illness, caring for someone you love, or simply looking for encouragement, I hope you find something here that makes your day just a little easier.

None of us chose this journey. But we can choose how we walk it.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to share what I’m learning along the way.
