How much does Valeska cost?
Valeska is free to use. Logging, reminders, trends, barcode and label scanning, the new Apple Health lab records import (United States), and the core tools cost nothing. Pro is $39.99 a year and adds clearer summaries of what changed and when, caregiver sharing, the Documents module, polished exports, and cloud backup. Family is $59.99 a year and adds profiles for the people you care for. Both start with a 7-day free trial. New plans are yearly. If you already pay monthly, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active. See the pricing page for what each one includes.
Is my health information private?
Yes. Your information is encrypted and stays on your device by default. Cloud backup is optional and stays off until you turn it on. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Does Valeska send my notes away to make a summary?
No. When your device supports richer summaries, Valeska prepares them right there without sending your health information off to a server.
How do I know a pattern is real?
Every pattern card says how solid it is in plain words: it stands out, it is worth a look, or it could be luck. It also shows the counts behind it, and only the days you actually logged are counted. Valeska tells you what lines up. What it means is a conversation for you and your care team.
What conditions does Valeska work for?
More than 500. Whether it is MS, Crohn’s, migraine, lupus, an autoimmune condition, or something else, you can track the symptoms that matter to you.
Do I need to be online to use it?
No. Valeska works offline. If you turn on cloud backup, it saves your data when you are connected.
Is it hard to log things?
No. Most entries take a few seconds. Tap, talk, scan a barcode, or snap a label and Valeska turns it into a clear log.
Can I share with my doctor?
Yes. Valeska builds a clear summary of your recent history that you can hand to your doctor before an appointment.
Can a family member or caregiver help?
Yes. You can invite a partner or caregiver and choose exactly what they can see, down to each category. You can change or remove their access anytime.
Does it connect to Apple Health?
Yes, if you want. You can let Valeska read things like steps, sleep, and heart rate to show alongside your other entries. In the United States, you can also import your lab results and your provider’s medication list from Apple Health. Your labs stay on your phone only, never uploaded and never shared with a caregiver, and every provider medication is yours to review before it is added. This is free. It is all optional, and you stay in control.
What devices does it work on?
iPhone and iPad. Every screen is built for both, and one record covers them if you turn on sync. On a full-size iPad window you can switch on a sidebar that puts every tool in one list, and Valeska works in Split View and Stage Manager next to your other apps.
How do I cancel a subscription?
You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings, the same place you handle your other App Store subscriptions.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can delete your account and all of your data from Settings in the app, or from our account-deletion page without signing in.
Does Valeska diagnose or treat conditions?
No. Valeska is a personal health companion that helps you track and understand your health. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace your care team.
